Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, or at least not for the adult sizes, as the smaller kid sizes appeared in great colourways. Perhaps the lineup will change next year. Insiders have now confirmed a 2023 variant.

Brendan Dunne from Complex has confirmed that the Nike Air Foamposite One "Metallic Red" will drop next year. The model originally debuted in 2012, an era when red sneakers were still high on the list. Five years later in 2017, the pair resurfaced less successfully, but still as a big seller for Nike.

A glossy red runs through the wavy upper, contrasting alongside black insoles and white mini Swooshes. Fittingly, the Nike Air Foamposite One "Metallic Red" then gets icy outsoles, and Penny Hardaway's "1 Cent" logo adorns the tongues.
