“I had never seen a coach give an athlete a massage,” she said in the interview. “I just thought, ‘He’s just so dedicated, he’s even willing to give his athletes massages.’ I kind of convinced myself that that was normal.”

“He was giving me a post-workout, pre-race, what he would call ‘a flush,’” Goucher told Nike Dunk Low Pro SB Red Hemp 304292-761. “And it just felt wrong. I was thinking, ‘There is no way he is touching me like that. I’m imagining this. He’s just a bad masseuse.’ But really I was just sort of frozen. Not knowing what to say or do or accept that this was happening.”

“It was the same situation, where I felt his finger was going where it shouldn’t be going,” Goucher said. “And I was so uncomfortable.”

Goucher’s book also details a flight to Europe for a half marathon in which she was seated next to Salazar, while he talked in graphic detail about his sexual relationship with his wife and asked Goucher about her relationship with her husband, Adam.
